The rest is on us! We will procure the gifts and ensure that they are packed with love and delivered to the kids.

Gifts to go

Due to the pandemic this year, many corporate companies have cut down on their budget, which resulted in smaller Homes not receiving gifts from donors as they used to every other year. One of our founding team members, Darren Lee, volunteered at The Salvation Army in Ipoh. When he heard this story from the caretaker, Aunty Swee Choo, he knew the team had to take action to put a smile on the children’s faces this year.

There will be a total of 48 children who your gifts will bless. Of these, 20 are from The Salvation Army Ipoh Boys Home, and 28 are from The Salvation Army Ipoh Childrens Home. The youngest child is aged six, and the oldest is aged 20.

We have already procured the gift items and will package them with care before delivering them to the respective Homes on Christmas Eve. The children will then be opening their presents on Christmas morning. Follow us on Instagram for more updates.

The gifts were sourced from online shopping platforms and local shops as shared by the caretakers. A small packaging and delivery fee is included in the price of the products to help us cover some expenses. Rest assured we aim to provide the best Christmas experience to the children at the Salvation Army homes.

Yes! Like many others, The Salvation Army has also been affected by the pandemic. They are currently raising funds via their Christmas Kettling. Do check them out here.
